The works from this series bear the common title “Les fleurs du mal”. “Flowers of Evil”. I chose the title of Charles Baudelaire’s most famous book of poetry because of the contrast of meanings contained in it and the beauty of the original wording of the title itself. It suggests a certain contradiction, a paradox – it talks about the beauty of things and the world, phenomena seemingly full of beauty, but also subject to the process of passing, sadness, melancholy, darkness and ambiguity.
